Remove center interior floor board and right front wheel.
Drive pin out of front yoke...I used a long rebarb that I ground one end down to a punch.
Unbolt carrier bearing.....then u can move rear shaft back and u can pull front part out of joint and out through the cab.
The rear part of drive line will not slide out the back with the carrier bearing still in tack ...it needs the metal bracket and the rubber removed.I used a large screwdriver to pry the rubber and the bracket off the bearing. Now the rear shaft will slide out the rear driverside with only the bearing still on.I slid it between the axle and top radius rod.
Then put the drive shaft in a vice and knock the bearing off.
I searched for instructions and found not much info ....so I thought I would share .
Some people said I had to unbolt the front diff and move it forward and remove belt cover ....this is not true.
The hard coolant pipes that run next to the carrier on pass side had come out of there clip in holders so that stumped me for a min because they were right over the pass side carrier bolt ...seeming impossible to get to the bolt. A firm amount of force and they were back in there spot so I could get to that bolt with a short socket and a extention.
I am taking mine to get balanced and installing greasable ujoints and a sandcraft carrier bearing.I will let you all know how it goes.
BTW mine has 950 miles and the rear ujoint was bad ,the front two were still in good shape.I never new the rear had a seized cap till I removed it .
