| I just purchased a new 17 xp 1000 and was thinking of getting a different cage for it. The plus is you get a roof windshield and rear bumper for it. The disadvantage is you have to get a custom enclosure for it and price wise very salty. The stock cage is all right but the bad thing is I only have maybe a 1/4" using the stock cage to clear the trailer door. So new trailer or aftermarket cage. What do you all think!!!

| Chopped cage is what I would want. That is the color of the same one our dealer has. | |

| It a pretty awsome machine. Came stock with arched a arms arched radius rods full skid plate 4500 lb Polaris winch 30" x10" crawley tires and bead lock wheels gated shifter 55% gear reduction in L gear and once 4x4 is pushed it is locked in no matter what. And rock sliders. Couldn't beat it. | |

| The only problem with a chopped caged is the lack of after market accessories like the enclosures and the rear windows. | |

| Chad, the guy that makes the enclosure for you all can make a custom fit one I thought. The rear windows on mine are just 1/8 Lexan too. Remember I had custom windows (cardboard) on mine at Black Mountain this year. upload image onlineThe cardboard even said "PURE POLARIS", from my windshield. | |

| He can but he needs the machine for several weeks plus the enclosure is a pain to get in and out off. Just ask Joe. It was great but i still dis liked it for that reason. Yeah the rear window is an easy fix.
Gimpy you need to patent your enclosure.... LOL | |
