Growing up sucks

The last couple weeks Alexis and myself have been in the process of buying our first house. I thought this would be fun...NOT! The market up here is super competitive and expensive. On top of that they're putting me through the ringer for being self employed...we've hopped on two houses the day they were listed and they've already had offers on them....I have a feeling this is gong to take awhile..just had to rant.. .....

Be patient bud, it's a process but it is well worth it in the end.

Being self employed sucks when you are trying to by something that requires financing!!

Same thing with me buddy, being a contractor/self employed sucks. The big thing is money talks, they will try to hit you with job history even when your credit is good. Just slam a stack of cash on the desk and that usually starts changing minds really quick.

Well in an interesting turn of events...we thought for sure they would go with another offer on this second house. Got the call this morning that we won the contract! I don't think it has sunk in yet lol

Congrats. Now you have to really grow up, even though it sucks.
