Heartland Edge 386 Toyhauler

I thought in years past that anything over 38 feet or so would have triple axles. I saw in trailer life a while back that Heartland was going to put Goodyear G614's, 14 ply, 110 , psi tires on their 5th wheels on 2015 on models. Did yours come with them?

Not Goodyears but they are G rated 110psi

Couldn't wait any longer? It was a great warm weekend here, but I had to work on the remodeling room.

Has Dexter 7000lb axles

Been reading up on the tires.they are sailun tires S637 235-85-16.  From what I have found they are great tires and a lot of people are upgrading to them. I know they are an upgrade on my trailer according to the salesman.





The dry weight sticker

Monica has always wanted a washer/dry in the camper and this one has the hook up for one. we found a vented combo unit on the local facebook yard sale page and she got it for 500$. So she is happy.
She just got the Install kit in.  I dread drilling a 4 inch hole into the side.

This was hard to do to a new camper.  

But got it installed.








I also put vent covers on three of the 4 covers. Would have done the 4th but the cover was missing 4 nuts to mount it.  





Also checked over all the caulking and found air bubbles over some screw heads.





So I used some eterdurabond tape to cover it.

I suggest now that you have the covers, to leave the crank up vents open at all times.  Cool nights then the sun in the morning hitting the camper causes interior and inside the wall moisture.  Ventilation with the vents open always cuts down on it.  When camping in the cold leave them cracked a little too.  Best thing a person can do to an RV.
