| Thanks guys! It's a pretty sweet ride. I found it on CL just a hour away from me and got a good deal on it. It's a 2008 model with a little over 18k miles, now a little over 19k miles, serial number 68. 998 cc Rotax V Twin that puts out 106hp 5 sp manual tranny. Enough to where you better hold on tight when you twist the throttle. Handles like it's on rails. Fuel injection, power steering, stability control, traction control, hell it even has sensors that tell me that I need new rear brake pads.
You might remember that my brothers , my dad, and I are taking a trip out west this fall. I had originally bought a rail buggy to take but it was going to require more work than I had time for me to make it to my liking. Now with this thing all I need to do is ride. I plan to get a new seat and a short handlebar riser to get a little more ergonomic riding position for long rides. I am also going to get a bigger adjustable windshield since we'll be ending up near Glacier NP in mid October. Hopefully that will keep me a little warmer. | |
