| Just got a rzr turbo and need some input on winches. Been told to get around a 4500lb winch but didn't know on brands other than Polaris. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks | |

| I have always had Polaris. The new machine has the 4500 HD Polaris winch. Not bashing the harbor freight winches as I have had some good and some bad tools from there, but an older guy I rode with that had a 4 wheeler always used the harbor freight winches. I think he said he had to replace 3 of them over time. Now he has a RZR with no winch, yet. | |

| If you decide on Polaris 4500 HD, I did find it through google search on Amazon for a super low price with free shipping, for my XP 900 last year. Synthetic rope is the only way to go. After a wet ride and after washing I always pull the rope out to air dry. I did not do that on my 800. After a year the rope was shot. Amazon sells replacement rope called Devils Hair, I think is what Mike D had me buy. | |
