Dang it, blew a knee last night

For the last month or two I have been progressively getting worse on the right hip to the knee where I have had 4 surgeries.  I finally went to the surgeon last Thursday and he thought it was my blown disc's in my back, so he sent me for a MRI of my back.  I started using a cane this week since it has gotten worse.  Went to get in my truck last night and the knee snapped loudly.  I had scheduled follow up with the doctor today so I stayed away from the drug head infested emergency rooms.  He thinks a blew the meniscus in the knee.  Going for a knee MRI Monday.  Swelled up the whole leg.

Golden years my friend!! Stock up on the depends that way when you least expect it you can just smile and take your time getting to the bathroom!! When you forget why you got up and you end up in the kitchen you won't have to listen to your wife's .......!!

Hate to hear that and hope it’s not anything serious but if they put a new knee in you can be back close to normal in about a month...if all goes well. They have come a long way on knee replacements.

Just wondering, how do you like your RZR?  I called Abernathys and inquiring about the “rocks edition” and was told they didn’t have one and not planning on gettin any cause they can’t sell them. Said that one sat for months before they could get rid of it. I was thinking it would be sellin like hot cakes with that setup of lower gearin and othe features that it has.

Sorry about that Les. Sounds like you need a right side replacement. You gotta be tough to get old hope all works out for the best buddy.

all that stuff they said about the golden years when we were all young,, that's was bullshit, now all them people are gone and we cant tellem that they didn't know shit about the golden yrs.

I just went down there and bought a 2018 900xp ranger le , cab, heater, doors, font & back glass , and poly roof p/s for 16,500 out the door , there prices are hard to beat . sold my 2012 800xp for 9200.00

I still love my rock crawler edition.  No complaints, no spring sags either yet.  Snow plows a lot better than the 800 S did.  My dealer had one of the newer editions a month or so ago.

Thanks I may give em another call. Hey Gimpy keep ice on that knee as much as you cal tol. especially before you go to bed at night. Get it as cold as you can get it. Don’t use ice packs. Get a freezer bag and put ice and a little water and keep it on there.

Hope you get that knee better soon.

Planning on it as of now. I will see what the surgeon says Thursday after he gives the MRI results. I am walking good with a cane.
