rhino 450??????

I am thinking about getting a rhino 450, I was wondering what everyone thinks of them. I mainly trail ride, some mud, and some mild hill climbs. The dealer I bought my grizzly from thinks I will be happy with the 450. I did drive the 450 at the dealer, and seemed like it had enough power, but that was basically in dry flat field. Tell me what you think of them.

Get a 700. alot more power. and you think you wont need it.
but after rideing a while you will want it. and you may want to
upgrade later to bigger tires or something. and you will want the larger
displacement. and the digi dash and all the upgrades are nice too.
4w disk brakes and bigger axels. its just a better deal all around.
I drove one at the dealer. a 450 seem to rattle more and had more
vibration. at least it was my view on it. if it was me I would go with
the 700. EFI is nice. and thay have lower first gear and reverse
than the 660 did. you will like it. I love mine.
But i know it is more money.....

I had a 07 450 for 6-months. The moment I got it home, I knew I had made a mistake. Traded it in with 300 miles for the 660. On slow,flat stuff, the 450's fine but on long hills it runs out of steam rather quickly. Did ok in the mud due to it's lower gearing and crawls pretty good too. For a farm or hunting and some light trails it's fine. If you have any "sportiness" in you at all, get the 700. 660/700 re-sale is much better than the 450's also.

If money is the consideration I would buy a Teryx 750 instead of the Rhino 450. You can find a Teryx for $8000.00 if you look hard enough. There are some on Ebay for that price.

hell if thats the case - buy a good used 660 or 700....there a few around... I just DUMPED one - JBradford has one on here cheap - craigslist has a lot too....

700 for sure. I almost let them talk me into the 450 and 660. I was patient, did my homework, asked questions, etc. I am so glad that I went with the 700.

cubanb - seriously consider the used market right now - there is a ton of stuff out there!!
