| I thought someone said there were two little allen head bolts holding them in. Or maybe that was the 660? | |

| I may be tottally wrong but the calipers are the same I think. Remove the caliper from the hub, remove the two-allen-heads, the pads will fall out. Then there's the trick, take a large flat-blade or a 1-inch wood-chisel, and insert into the "X" on the piston, remove the cap off the master cylinder,turn in the piston to give yourself room for the new pads to fit over the disc. Don't forget to take the thin-metal shims off the old pads and put them on the new ones. This is for a 660,I'm sure the 700's close to the same. |

| i just used a C-clamp(on the front) and pushed the piston back in that way no problems here, but def get the shims | |

| I just took the rear off and you can just push the piston in. I have not tried the front yet. The pads still have some grove in them. I think I can get a few more rides out of them. - Airborne LT wrote:

| I took my parking brake pads off tonight and sanded them. thay were sqeeking like crap . i may put disk brake quit on all the pads just like a do a car.... Chris..... | |

Well , there is No more rattles. I stripped it to the frame. and took care of all rattles. and squeaks. Big Red is one quite Rhino. til i turn up the tunes...... | |
