LT , its funny you mention that. I had a 300 Bayou. and it was the
worse 4wheeler i ever had. it ran good. but i had to have the starter
rebuilt about 6 times it 2 years..
I think water would get in it somehow.
and the thing eat brakes like going out of style. I got rid of it. and
got me a suzuki king quad. it was the older model of what you have.
it was a pretty good machine. mine only had one problem , if you went
in real deep water. it died. i took it apart and sealed everything. but it
still did it. my buddy had the same 4 wheeler and his never died in water.
i finally sold it and bought a Yamaha and never had anymore troubles.
i have owned many yamahas all the way back to my motoX days in the
70's. i still think a Yamaha is the most reliable built machine made. Marty
is right about durability. I am not a speed demon. so i dont care how fast it will
go. just watch utube vids. a Rhino will go where ever a teryx will go or a RZR.
but there is alot of holes i seen a Rhino go , that the others got stuck.
if your a woods rider , I still dont think you can beat it.. it will get you there
and bring you back. in good comfort. and to me that means alot.
the main reson i posted that vid. is because. i had that same thing happen to me.
when i drove the teryx at the dealer brand new. it was disappointing.
when i ask the sales guy what it was. he said thay all do it. and the belt has to be
adjusted often. So i figure if it does it brand new. whats it going to do. after
a few hundred miles in Kentucky......
i drove it in summer time. after 30 min.
it was cooking my right leg. there is no way i could stay in that thing with shorts on .
as long as we rode in kentucky. you would haft to stop every ten min.
Chris....
