The New Improved Big Red. Alot of mods

Big Red was a 200cc 4cycle 3 wheeler thru 1984, and a 250cc for 85-86 with HI/Low range and reverse. My Dad had one, a 85 250. Very stable machine for a 3 wheeler.

the atc big red started in 82 i think. the big thing about the big reds where that they have high/low range and 3'' of suspension travel on the front none on the rear.

here is a pic of my 1981 atc 200. it bored .060 over web cam and 12:1 wiseco pistion with cobra exaust. and no suspension.
it will pull the tire up in 4 gear.me and my dad rebuilt it 10 years ago when i was in the 8th grade.

i want a atc 350x bad but cant find any close that wants to sell one.

You are right. i am moveing slow today. my back has been killing. me. i pulled something.
it has been bothering me for days.. I am getting worried. i have only a week
before winrock. and right now i can hardly set in the rhino.
i am starting to get nervious....

Chris I noticed that one switch on your dash, third one from the left, is about one degree off center....twist er to the left a lil. Or start over.

JK looks great main. Hey it looks like your right front hub has your wheel off about 4 degrees....send that thing down to North AL and let me test it for you. I will send it back once yamar has enough steel to make some damn hubs.

My 800, oh yea it has the power, has the same running gear as a razr S and 500 lbs lighter. It runs the dirt roads at 50 at half throttle, it sucks the gas too 4 gallon tank and if your heavy on the thumb it only gets 10 mpg.

Gunny.........I would like to line up the Po-Po and the King Quad and see how they compare. What do ya think?

I dont know, my 05 with me on it could beat a 660 griz no problem, my 08 has the H.O. motor which has 8% more HP than a standard 800 used in the standard razrs. I have a friend with a 08 750 KQ but we havent raced. Id say with same size riders the polaris would win, but only cause it is muti cyl and it has more HP but thats just a guess. I like power but am not really into going fast off road.

It is more for me just to gauge how my King stacks up to a bigger twin. I have never raced anything other than a couple of sport quads, which were quite suprised about how a big bike like mine could accelerate so quick.

I like my friends KQ it seems to go anywhere only thing he has said is it feels twitchy at high speeds. It would probably be better if he had went with aftermarket wheels but he just changed the tires to mudlites and stayed with the stock wheels.

I added the aftermarket a-arms and it helped with that twitchiness. I love the King Quad........nice ride, smooth, reliable.......just wish it had power steering.

Shawn it comes on for 2 seconds when you crank up.
it lets you know the power steering is activated.....

Shawn , if you ever drove one with power steering.
you would go get a loan to buy one. thats how good it is.
its by far the best thing i have done.... but it is pricey...
