PostSubject: 11-9-08 Windrock   11-9-08 Windrock EmptyMon Nov 10, 2008 6:02 pm

I am sorry that some could not ride with us Sunday. However, it is probably a good thing. We hit some tough trails. We only road about 27 miles and it took us all day. mking wanted to be back at the trucks at 3:00 "sorry". We got back at 6:00. But, it was alot of fun.

PICS Pics

Now this little hill was the first real scary obstacle we incounterd. It had what I call a flip rock right in the middle of it. A flip rock is exactly what it sounds like. Flip your ass over if you are not careful. WVrhino, mking and I were really giving this rock/hill a study when Chris hopped in his rhino and said "I want to climb that hill" and up the hill he went. His 2" left helped him quite a bit where we had to navigate a bit more. But we all made it up even the three wheeler. Good job Chris, I am proud of you allright

Marty. i think on 39. I could have made it. i think i had the clearance.
to clear the rocks we needed to clear. Ronnie was in front of me. and
he was not sure if he could clear them. So we turned around.
you are right. if we broke out winches. we would make it for sure.
everything we did sunday. we did on power alone. we never had to
winch up no where.... allright

Thanks Marty.... cheers

Marty , Some of them you could. but we went alot
of places. a Rubicon just would not fit. Hell the Rhino would bearly
fit between the rocks.. some of them rocks was as big as a Rubicon.... :D .

This was Rhino Country.... Wink
Just take that fiber glass off. Change them tires. Lock
the Diffs, and lets Get er Done..... cheers
I found the higher you are lifted. the better off you are... allright
WVRhino said he would have new tires before the next ride.
No terracrosses for him no more..... No and he even got a flat.
Tim said thay were to small.... Wink

Chris.... king

Bubba there is 2 things you are forgetting. :D yes the 3 wheeler made it.
but. he did have some assistance.it was not easy. he did stall out once.
and Ronnie was there to catch him. so he did not go back down
the hill and most important.
John has balls the size of the wheels on my Rhino..... cheers

That makes a big difference..... allright

Trail 39. If you take the gravel road marked trail 3 to the bottom of 39 that hill is not to far into the trail.

Bubba,

John (the guy on the three wheeler) is the best rider I have ever seen hands down.

That hill is no B. S. I put a helmet on to climb it and I hardly ever wear a helmet.
