| One of my good friends RZR....stripped wheel stud, two CV boots, tilt steering shock, and one complete BLOCK(broke at motor mount) in 400 miles ! I have 1500 miles on my Rhino and one broken axle(hard right foot ), one boot, and one tie rod end. I wanted a RZR but I'm glad I didnt get one now. | |

Oh yeah, and not sure if I'll get his screename right, r6realtor, has had dirt in his 09, I saw the pics. Bull pate, now lets just stop making up stories! He has never had dust in his 09, read for yourself. He changed the airbox out to a aftermarket one, maybe that helped who knows he never tried it with the stock one. - r6realtor wrote:

As far as mechanical issues, some of the first rzr's had some intake issues but if you are getting a new 09 most of them should have the larger airfilters with the throttle body boot and better throttle body, so hopefully that has been taken care of, I have a BTI airfilter canister that definitely does work!! so I have had no dust intake issues so far. I did however come back from my first out of state trip with a front swaybar bushing missing which made me realize why I was getting such crazy steering feedback when hitting nasty bumps. but it is all being covered under warranty, plus the part was only 4bucks.
my new rzr

| Yep, it was the same deal when i had my prowler, some of these guys just dog anything to death if it ain't a dang rhino. Sorry but rhinos have problems too, a shit load of them ive read about on many forums. But i have enough brain matter to know that that doesn't represent the majority of them. But you would think its about everyone from reading the forums. | |

| Hey if I were going out tomorrow and buy anything it would be an 09 Tyrex not a Rhino. I have always been a Yamaha guy but I would NOT buy a current Rhino. I'm not a RZR hater by anymeans, but right now for me, it's just not my machine. I'm going to buy another sxs, a 2010 of some kind, but if Yamaha don't step-up it won't be a Rhino I can promise you that. |
