| I was reading a thread on the RF about folks having trouble with the sliders melting on their clutches. Anybody ever have that trouble here? If so how big of a PIA is it to change? Is there any aftermarket sliders that hold up better? | |

| i hever heard of it. what are they calling sliders? the 4 pieces that lock the cam and sheave together. the hardest part for me when i changed the clutch sheave was getting the cover off. | |

| I've heard of the 700s melting the sliders. Unleashed has replacements that are supposed to be better. |

| I haven't had mine apart yet so I don't know what it looks like. From reading the thread that is what it sounds like. I need to tear mine down and check it out, just waiting on the funds to do a clutch kit at same time. | |

| Guys on NYROC have had some issues with sliders in the King Quad. I cannot really see what the benefit of the sliders over the rollers would be, but I guess if you are into experimenting and you have the cash, then go for it. I think I am going to go ahead and put in the VDI, the machined clutch sheave with the stock weight rollers and see how that works. | |

| I think the slider fix that they talk about on rf.net is a complete cam change with nylon sliders. I think the $4 cost of the regular ones might be the way I'm going for a while if I have any problems. . . | |
