Some info on one of our members.

One of our members rcmass (Robbie) had not been on for about a month. I knew he was supposed to have back surgery, so i thought I would check on him. I thought I would share his response with you all.



Hey Yank -

Sorry I haven't logged on in a while - been down for quite some time.

I had my spine surgery on Nov 13th. Things went well - but the recovery is
much harder than I had anticipated. They fused 3 vertebrae with screws and
rods, removed 1 disc, and made one set of the rods flexible.

I am just now getting up and around by myself without aid. Trying to walk on
the treadmill and recover as best I can.

Long story short, its been real tough for me to sit at the computer to get
any work done - even with a laptop - unfortunately that also puts social
computer time to nil - work has to happen. Plus, right now, I'm either up
standing or lying down.

Anyway - thanks for checking in with me, and I hope to get logged into some
of the sites I miss the most real soon.(especially southernsxsriders.)

Hang in there brother! I want to see you back up and out on the trail once you get healed up.

I have been wondering about Rob. I hope him the best. Back surgery is tough.
