| Just thought I would share this pic. I took it off my front porch, its the sludge slide that you might have heard about in Kingston Tn. One day a full lake the next its half gone.. I cant wait till it all freezzes so i can get out there and play on it with the rzr. NOt--too much authority around. HeckI feel like I live in a war zone with all the helicoppters and planes flying around and I work 2 shift; not good on trying sleep! | |

| The Tennessee Valley Authority is working to contain the release of potentially toxic pollutants from the coal-fired Kingston power plant after a breach in an earthen dike released 2.6 million cubic yards of ash from a holding pond. In trying to keep positive about things, maybe this will lower my property taxes.. | |

| wow....that would be scary to be sitting on your front porch & see that coming at you. Did the blue part of the water come along with it or was it already there? Hope nobody was injured or killed in that mess. | |

| Jerry I stopped by the boat ramp across the river from your house, the white film floating around feels like liquid sandpaper..
I have a TR20 Triton bass boat and I bet if you run much in that, even down river, next trip out you would need a new water pump..
But not to worry I hear Al Gore and Bobby Kennedy Jr. are looking in to the situation--Bwahahahahahahaha I feel better already!!!! | |

| Maybe we should all pile in at Jerry's house and have a fish fry in January. I bet they would taste good, a liitle arsenic and soda ash might clean us all out. :face: Gore and Kennedy are only wanting to milk what money they can from the clean-up effort. TVA don't care one way or the other and the EPA doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground. They claim the fish kill off was normal for shad when the water temperature drops. Coincidence that the sludge was there and the fish all died all of a sudden. | |

| Id be talking to a lawyer, possible health hazards might just turn that area into a ghost town or at least make your property unsalable | |
