Who's up for Pickett??

Subject: Who's up for Pickett?? Mon Feb 02, 2009 2:44 pm

Got some guys that want me to come down to Pickett. I wanted to see who is interested, and when would be good for you all. I am thinking March or May. I know I have lots of things already on the calender, so I actually have only certain weekends that will work. The guy I am talking to is a TERYX owner so I told him that there would be several SxS guys from here that want to go. I hope I did not tell a fib.

March is an option for me because I have a 4 day weekend the last weekend, and it is also my bday. I already have an approved mileage pass, so really, I just need to decide where to go. It may be Brimstone, it may be Pickett. It all depends on who wants to ride and where. I know you aint gotta worry about money Gunny!! Chris C neither!! You got no excuses.

Hey, my business is way off, plus i just blew 2k on house repairs. Now if i had chris's money i would be guydance

Yes, it is amazing that the coat of a millionaire is so eccentric and un-appealing to us common folk...... roflmao

Gunny, Brimstone is just a stones throw away from Windrock. That is not too far for a weekend trip is it?

you guys set the date and i will try and make the ride. i dont know if i can afford to go 2 times in one month but will have to see the $$$ funds at that that time of the ride.

The date would either be the weekend of March 27-29th or a weekend in May.

Is that Pickett State Park near Jamestown that you are talking about. If so I would like to ride there I have heard good things. I live at Brimestone so any weekend would be good for me.

Did anyone ever decide on this? I ride Pickett as often as I can so if this is still in the works I will try to go! Also if you have never been I got several pics on my myspace and website from our last couple rides last year.

I would like to ride Pickett also. Is riding Pickett and Brimstone doable in the same weekend? How far apart are the riding areas?

I am down for whatever. We could ride Brimstone first, then Pickett the next day. I know some guys that ride Pickett a lot. I can check into accomodations. Is this something that you guys may be interested in doing? I have been wanting to hit Pickett. I have heard nothing but good things.
