2 Sidexsides need 18' minimum. 20' with a ramp gate would be easier.

I had a 18 ft car hauler trailer that worked great for 2 side by sides. The RZR is 11" shorter that a rhino without bumbers. If you were doing 2 Rhino's a 20' would even be better.

I looked into trailer sizes in depth before buying my 7' x 20' that Neuro posted. Get the 7' wide. The 7' allows you to carry most ATV's across the width with no issue. I considered 18' long but it was tight for my 2 ATV's and the Rhino. The 20' length works perfect!

One caution I do give is tongue weight. Many trailers that size are built with 500+ lbs of tongue weight empty. They are a pain to connect and can easily give 1000+ lbs of tongue weight loaded. I had my trailer built by Thumper Customs in SC and they were able to make the tongue weight 100 lbs or less empty. The trailer tows great empty or loaded and is easy to connect. This sounds silly but makes a world of difference since I pull my Rhino to the front and tow it sometimes with only that Rhino loaded. With a normal 7 x 20 I would be looking at 1500+ lbs of tongue weight with only one Rhino at the front -- my 7 x 20 keeps it to around 700 lbs or so with only one Rhino loaded. This would make an especially big difference if it was being towed by a smaller truck.

Well it will be my rhino and her new pink RZR(when she gets it) doubt I will ever haul another quad but never know I can side load quads on my 6' wide trailer now with no issues so I guess i'm looking at a 6x20 hmm wonder if my little truck can do it...05 4dr V6 Frontier think it can hang? Has no issues pullin rhino and a quad just burn a little more gas but worth the fun

I think a V6 is a little light for a 20' trailer.

If you are going 16 ft might as well do 20 ft. The weight will be close to the same. If I was building my trailer again I would have changed the floor from 2 x 8 treated to expanded wire. I have one expanded wire trailer and really like the ease of cleaning and the lighter weight of the expanded wire.

but expanded metal will end up sagain badly where the tires will sit when hauling unless I welded in a cross support at exactly where the tires would go

My smaller 5 x8 is expanded metal and it has more angle iron cross supports. No big sagging but it is a small light trailer. My thought on my 7 x 20 is I would add cross supports at 18" gaps and then lay and weld the expanded metal over the supports. I'd guess this would cut 400 lbs in weight versus the 2x treated lumber. The expanded metal is also much easier when washing the Rhino at a car wash. I doubt I'll ever add it to my trailer but if I was having it built today that is what I would do -- similar to the drop ramp gate.

my 5x10 trailer has the expanded metal floor and the spot welds broke that hold it to the trailer frame.the trailer was geting used everyday in the summer when i was mowing 20+yards a week. and my lawnmower is around 800lbs and hauling it on the 2miles of gravel road to my house have beat it to death. so i added 6 2x8 to the floor where the tires go over top of the metal floor and the wood also makes the trailer stronger.

shawn i tryed loading them on my 16ft and they wont fit. No it will be tight with a 18ft but will work. i would go with a 20ft trailer. i guess i will have to load the rzr in the bed and haul the rhino with my 5x10 when im going to haul both or pull the 24ft gooseneck. :D

Like I said -- get the 20ft. Size does matter.

bush -- will your rzr fit in the bed of a truck? Usually the bumpers and oversized wheels stop that. Post some pics. I gotta see that!

That fits good in the back of your truck. I'm impressed. The next thought I had is can you leave the tailgate down and pull the 5 x 10 with a Rhino in it -- I'm sure you can. Nice looking Rzr.
