Thanks everyone.....I think it's strange that I can't wear my contacts. I wonder why? I told them I can't see my hand in front of me without them...so they have agreed to let me wear them up to the point of the surgery...I just have to remind them that I have them in.

We got back home ~ 3hrs. ago. I doped her up and we both napped 'til just alittle while ago. Of course She's already back to la la land now.
The procedure went off without a hitch, She's just still in a bunch of pain when She moves. We go back tomorrow to get her drain removed and then it's just rest, rest, rest until I hear her start fussing over something... then I'll know She's fully recovered! ☀
We appreciate y'all keeping her in your thoughts!! allright

Thanks all. I am doing better than yesterday....yesterday was terrible....I stayed around 9 hours before I could leave, because I was in terrible pain. She said I had adhesions..so guess that's why I hurt more than normal. I feel a lot better today & with the help of pain meds. I just feel sore, & experiencing nausea from time to time. I had my drain tube removed today, she told me it would be painful, but I stayed relaxed & turned my mind away from what she was doing & it stung a little, but wasn't bad at all. The doctors, & nurses where great with me...but there was one nurse who came to discharge me who seemed to have an attitude like she didn't want to be there. After 9 hours I was still in pain as she was wheeling me out to meet hubby in the parking lot...& it hurt so bad I couldn't stop crying...& she was like "your still in pain"? almost like she was saying I was making it up...I started to say nah...just crying for the he** of it....anyways....glad to be out of there.

I have been reading up on bile salts that may help me break down fatty foods, & not mess with my stomach....my doctor was no help on that subject...so Researching on my own, & reading reviews from other GB patients.

Edit reason: doped up on meds, & don't know what I am saying, lol.
