| Well I decided to add somw washers under the seat latch and it made a difference but now the seat is a little wobbly sice it is not flat on the metal not sure if I want to make some spacers to make it more solid or just take the washers off the bolt. It did seem to make it more comfortable though any ideas for spacers? | |

| Maybe a piece of tube aluminum 1/2, 3/4 across the front? Or come up through the base with bolt so you could make adjustments untill its at the height you like. | |

| That's a cool idea. Take a picture when you get done. I've been trying to figure out a way to not have my throttle leg in such a bind in the slow stuff. | |

| How about hood-Stops. You can get them at almost any auto-parts store. Bolt with a rubber bump made to the end. |

| Hmmm, I'll have to think about it a little more. I certaily wouldn't want to weaken the latching of the seat to the frame but I do like the bump stop idea. I guess 5 point harnesses would still keep me in the machine if the latching failed. | |

Matt, after I put my 5pts in I had the nut strap mounted dead center. On the first ride I hit a bump hard enough that it jarred me pretty good and when my weight pulled out of the seat it released the latch on the seat. I stayed in fine but it was interesting having the seat come lose under me. It wasn't a big deal but I did move that strap over once I got home.

Definitley good to know. I have made some improvements to my throttle leg position in that I increased the height of my heel with a thick floormat of laminated shop floor foam while cutting out the throttle area. Tha allows my foot to be at a less sharp 90 * angle and less prone to cramping after a long day of slow rocky creek type trails. It could definitley be improved by tilting the front of the seat up. I inquired on RF.com about this and the only that came up were expensive seat bases, expensive seats or and expensive accelerator pedal. All seemed unlikely to help in my mind and as mentioned....expensive. I wasn't willing to take a chance. This looks like it has potential and not much of a spend so potentially a winner in both arenas.
