I'm sure that this will bore some of you , but I was asked to post pic's and follow up as I try to remember how to put it back together

Now that would be a Gas....but we would have to be careful though.....Big R's machine might not ever run again

Well everything is apart...cleaned and I'm just waiting for the engine parts to show.
Was told that it would be the end of this week, or the 1st part of next. Cage has been cut, but is not done yet....making a little stainless steal topper for the Hunterworks roof.
I'll post pic's when I have something kewl to show!!!!!

Removed 3" from front roll cage bar ....so then had to remove 3" from windshield. Tomorrow is the rear bar and the support that is attached to it.
I was originally going to remove 4" from the cage, so I started @ 3" just to see how things would work out.....more to it than one might think, such as, there is a 5 degree angle where it joins the frame of the machine. So after removing 3", I reinstalled the roof and rear view mirror and realized that I couldn't really take off another inch.
Here's a few pic's of the cage being chopped. NOTE: Remember the rear bar is higher than the front in its stock form, but you can see what 3" removal will do!



Then while I had a little time to kill I made these.


And still had a few more minutes to do this.


So that's where I am @ so far!

Why are you shortening the cage? I hardly have head room the way it is.

Looking good though.

Any hints on how you modded the shifter? I need to mod mine for the wife and haven't quite figured out how to do it with the cheap hollow tube they use stock.

I think Bell might be the only place in the world that we could show up without a ride and have the best time ever! If I recall, I did not have my own ride one nite and chose to ride with someone else another. Heck, I might just leave my ride at home in 09! Many good times, thanks to you guys!

Been out of town.....again. Got the last bit of "Chopping" done on the cage this afternoon...4" off rear bar. Also removed the rear fenders and skirts from the box and mounted 2 recessed, oval, LED brake/tail lights. Will get pic's up tomorrow...need sleep now!
