| No I rode Royal ATV in Clarkson. Not sure where to post it but me and boy drove 1.5 hours one way to Hillz n Hollarz on Sat to find out they got shut down Wednesday because one of the partners switched it from an LLC to INC and that allowed them to review the business and gave Henry county the opportunity to pull their license.
I was less than pleased.

Cool. I was just thinking today that I need to look into the place in Indiana. Hey don't you need a permit or something? I thought there was a thread on here somewhere but I can't find the search terms to locate them. This was the first ride for the youngest one and she did okay but definitely not capable of riding all day. And she has more of a sense in regards to hills than most of us do. Everytime she saw a decent hill she would say "No, OUT".

Went today. Great place. I didn't have my registration yet and got a ticket along with the other two guys that went with me. Don't know how much the ticket is yet but don't really matter. My fault for not getting the registration. We really liked it. I have my gps track saved and I am going to overlay it on the property to see where we actually rode.

| Try to call Indiana DNR and tell them that you are from KY. If from another state you are able to ride a few times before, you need a IN registration. | |

If from another state you are able to ride a few times before, you need a IN registration. I ask him and the conservation officer said that is not true. I am curious as to what people are supposed to do if they are traveling and only going to ride there one time. I am going to call them tomorrow and see what they say. I don't know how much this ticket is but I bet it is a good penny.

Here is info on In. DNR Site. I looked at that also and the only thing I can think of is KY does not register ORVs any longer. You can't register them here. I tried when I bought it to get a title and they said they do not register or title them. So I am guessing that is why he wrote us a citation. I assumed that with me purchasing it new here in KY that it would have been registered but I guess not. I have sent an email and I am going to raise as much hell as I can to get out of it if possible all while I am sending in my registration.

Thanks. We had a good ride yesterday (minus the little one) at Interlake. The 4 seater worked great. Even had a friend of my son's riding with us. I need to stiffen the shocks a bit but other than that it did great. Hell it only has 108 miles on it even with the 30 we rode yesterday.

| The citation is $124.00. I have sent some emails and in communication with them because of Sec 19 misinterpretation that they agreed is vague. Not sure if I want to just pay it or continue to fight it since they are blatantly taking advantage of KY, IL, and MI residents with a common misinterpretation that results in the riders getting tickets. What is more frustrating is the fact that the ticket is $124.00 and registration is only $10.00 a year. Plus the fact that they admitted to not putting information on the website in regards to the definition of "registration" in other states. They said their officers gave warnings for several months and they let many riding groups aware of the situation. I informed them that if they were aware of so many misinterpretations that they should have provided additional information or at least track the warnings given to prevent repeat offenders. We had no intentions of breaking the law. | |
