Join In...HELP OUT

Folks we are starting a new association state wide for motorized/non-motorized as well..we need a collective voice...and with our club member numbers..and voting age family members we can take our issues to our local, county, and state peeps and get some help...as sitting member on the state KRTA board I see each month how much influence the Ky League of Sportsmen, Ky Motorcycle Association has with big numbers. I have finished the new web site..and am sure it will be tweaked even more with input from you guys. We need this NOW..so we can work on bills, local issues for the session next Jan. in the mean time on city, and county issues..can you imagine any polictician not paying attention to a letter from K.A.T.A. starting off with.
On behalf of the 2100 members of the KATA...AND FAMLIES...we are requesting your support on the..ETC ETC...Lots of votes to look at guys..IMO..I hate to see us get into politics and lobby..but we need to make our voice heard...your thoughts please..on here or my email bellman30@windstream.net New site is:

Thanks Clay..maybe at your clubs next meeting...they can vote on this...got 3 on board so far.

Good deal Big-R..I would love to see that as well..it seems the big push for our sport has fallen to the way side since we busted out butt helping to pass SB 179 last year...I invited F&G, WMA, EPA, Coal Reps, State Police, and seems like everyone and their assistant...all were for working with us...not getting all the lands they manage..but some trails thru them..we would even help repair said trails...be a fire watch for the forestry guys as well...Even had the Lt. Gov sitting beside me...and now it seems all doors get shut in my face every time I am in Frankfort..that is one reason we need all to join in...they will listen to voters in a heart beat..and I fear my days on the KRTA may be numbered as I ask to many ????? I assume.
If you guys vote to join..just mail the check along with number of members you have...PLUS..number of family members each one has..THAT CAN SUPPORT US...AND VOTE!

Bump for an outstanding cause! I strongly encourage all Members to look at this because this will help us all. Ky members really need to pay attension as this will improve our situation first. We need to throw as many numbers (members) to this as possible. We really need some help in this area. Politicians only listen to voters. They can listen to our concerns or they can go job hunting!

Well said Clay..I think by now that outdoor clubs as this..ours..and many more have shown that we are not the kind of people they think we are in person or on the trails...not only could we be a big voice for our sport...but do so much good for our state..can you imagine one day a..."Ky ATV Jamboree" with all monies going to a certain KY cause. This is our chance and we should act now IMO.

Ok Gang..after talkig with some other associations, we at this tiime, are not going to charge a fee to join www.kataonline.org until such expenses for our lobby efforts at city, county, and state level are such that the assoication itself will set the fee..now if someone could please email me the number of members in your club..add my name..as I printed application and will put it in snail mail monday...along with the estimated number of voting age family members..we need numbers and fast..the Lt. Gov has already heard of us....and wants our support for his bid at national office. Email bellman30@windstream.net
