Does anyone here have a rhino 450? I spoke to a guy today that had one and said he has never overheated and has never heard the brake chatter problem. Has anyone here experienced the same with their 450 or are you still getting the break chatter on the 450's as well?

I've never over heated my 450. But, in all fairness, I've only had it since Nov. My Buddy (the reason for me buying mine) has never overheated his either that I know of. I could not be more happy with mine. Once in a while my breaks squeak some, but have never had a chatter. I'm told the squeak is from the hardness of the stock pads? Softer, aftermarket pads will do away with that I'm told.

No probs with mine , ever.

Overheated once due to mud clogging up the radiator guard, once cleaned out, all was good.

Never heard of the brake thing, it's never happened to me.

No over heating with mine either but I dont look for mud to clog the radiator. As for the brakes, i get a squeak every now and then. I am more than happy with mine.

Of you that have responded or that will respond how many miles do you have on yours? My chattering started at about 1000 miles.

It's seems to be more of an issue when dealing with mud. Remember a 450 is working very hard at toteing 1100#s, more so than a 660 or 700, so the cooling system is taxed a lot more and is very sensitive to any air-flow restrictions. I had a 07 450 for 6-months and never had any over-heating issues. I didn't splash through mud either...
