CAW 4/18 (ride report added w/pics)

I am riding at carolina adventure world this saturday. I plan to be there at 1100 am. Anyone want to try to meet up?

I hope someone can make it. Give us a trail report......

A friend of mine, his cousin and I went down to Carolina Adventure World just to get some trail time in. We ended up getting there around noon and ride toll about 6 pm. The trails were in good shape considering all the bad-mouthing that I have heard on other forums....it must have been the sport quad riders doing all the complaining because I did not have many problems with the RZR and my friend didnt have many with his grizly. Some of the trails had areas that had been rutted out and muddy due to the rains that we had in the past couple weeks but there were ways to get around the muddy , rutted out areas.

parking lot ...there were alot of people there because they had some sort of poker run going on.





My friend going through a rutted out area (trail 6)...there were two alternate ways around this hole...I pulled two other four wheelers out with the RZR just prior to him going through it...he did not need to be pulled out.

A guy we ran into at the mud bog. He and his son had identical 2008 700 grizleys, no lift, 30 inch tires, snorkels and clutch kits. That bog was soupy and stunk like a gas station restroom!!!

I dont think we were supposed to be riding ion this trail...it was not numbered but we had to play in the mud.

Finally...the closest I ever came to putting the RZR on its side. This trail ran along the creek (I think it was trail 6). There was several ways to tackle this trail and I changed my mind and entered some ruts from the side...I tried pulling through it using a tree that would had been on the right side of the pic...my friend had to hold on to the roll bar while I hooked to the tree in the pic which got me out with no problems.

I have heard complaints about Brimstone being in bad shape before. It is usually someone that is looking for Sunday strolling.
