| I turned it into a useful space With the lid in the bottom To show the size It is 100% water and dust proof so i will be useing it to carry my tools and emergency chemicals in. It has always been wasted space fr me because whatever you put it it would be dirty...........not now | |

| Thanks everyone! I made it with the help of my friend. Materials and labor to build cost me $160 but it will be worth every penny to have my stuff stay clean. I tested it by holding it underwater in one of my trash cans for several minutes and she worked great, bone dry! | |

I kept a parts list and time count to see what it would cost to reproduce and ship and the results would be $200 per box shipped anywhere in the US. I dont think many people would spend that much money for it. That price would only put me making $60 and it takes 3 hours.

| I know there are ones out there. I think the best one on the market is the one from Moose. The one you have there looks really nice. I would like to check it out at Brimstone. I would definitely want it to be watertight. | |

| i can put the lid on it and hold it under water and she is dry as a can be. Or you can fill it with clean water and it will stay in. | |

I just saw one of them on another site and I know that they are way smaller than mine. It will not hold near as much but you would be able to remove it with no tools where as mine i made it as big as possible which means you need to remve the lower seat belt assembly to take mine out so they both have their advantages.

| So you say you have to remove the seat support to get it in and out? The only problem I see with that is mud is going to get trapped in there. I still want to look at it when we're at Brimstone. I have been wanting another storage option so I don't have to carry so much in the box in the back. What is it made out of, plastic? | |

You need a 14mm socket to take off 1 nut and its out. I could make it 1" smaller and you would not need to remove the nut, i just wanted it as big as possible for my use. It is made out of pvc board.
