If you are building your own snorkel and need something other than 90 deg elbow check out your local electrical supply company. (Electrical & Plumbing supply will have more than Lowes or Home depot.) Sch 40 PVC conduit is dimensionally the same as sch 40 pipe and they can be glued together even thought they are different colors (conduit grey, pipe white). This true of sch 80 as well. Conduit has bends instead of elbows and they are available in 90, 45, 30 and 22½ degree bends they have longer radius than pipe elbows (smoother bend less restriction).

good to know i'm in the process of snorkleing my 700 right now and i wanna get it right the first time if you know what i mean!! i don't wanna be in the middle of a mude hole and find out i took a cheap way out and i shoulhda went the other route. right now i'm useing rubber bushings and this rubber 1"-1/2 rubber pipe i got at lowes . i done the clutch enclosure vent now i just need to do the fan vent on the clutch andthen i can tackle the air intake. if anyone has some real good pictures of a 700 rhino's air intake snorkled i would like to see them.
