I checked my belt at 1800 miles and it was fine. My belt has been put to the test. I would not spend the extra cash. Stocker is fine.

Clay......have never heard anyone complain about the stock belt. I would go ahead and give it a shot with the stocker for awhile.

Put 2100 miles on an EPI with excellent service. Carry as a spare now. Put a stocker on, it seems to slip in a bind easier.

If anything else, stick to your stocker for the time being, ...just
keep one(whichever brand you choose) on hand for when it lets go
or breaks while on the trail 25 miles from your tow vehicle. It may
be a little aggrevating but replacing one on the trail beats
having to be towed in by your buddys. If you stocker is givin ya trouble
now, go ahead and swap em... while its convenient at your home or shop.
