| Coot, these lights have an advantage over some others. They have internal ballasts so you don't have to worry about mounting anything but the light itself. I have not had them on the trail, so I cannot comment on their durability. I know WVRider and ChrisC both have them and have not had problems. Clayboy also has some that you can get at a good price. They are oval. They look nice and are BRIGHT. They have external ballasts though. I was running out of room under my hood so I went with ones with internal ballasts. The ones Clay had were mounted on a crossbar up on his hood. They would really throw the light. He blinded me at Evarts they were so bright. | |

| I have the stock replacement HID's but would like the bumper mount ones too. I looked on the OReillys site and didn't see them. Do you have a part number?

| Or you could flip it on during a night ride if you were trying to blind the guy behind you. It might be more effective than a flash grenade..... | |

| don't laugh but I thought about putting on on for a backup light and one on the front bumper. I figure with my HID's now I really don't need any more light but it would be a nice "emergency" light if anything every happens to my headlights. | |
