Shawnley so you went ahead an ordered one. Give us a review when you get it. I had looked at them on ebay for the Prowler in the past but never bought.
If it turns out good to you, I may put one on my Rhino.

Hopefully Shawnley can give a 100% answer on this when he gets his.

On the other hand if you read the ebay description it does say "Waterproof", which means I am sure the Remote is at least Water Resistant. Water probably won't hurt it.

I dropped an actual automotive keyless remote in the river while riding once last year, also my phone, etc. The remote still worked perfectly, although I used insurance on my phone.

If the auto remote survived 2 ft of water. I would almost bet this remote to a waterproof alarm will have no problems withstanding water. It is designed for an off road vehicle LOL.

Shawnley or RSRRhino when you get yours give us your experienced opinion.

Do we need to start moderating here!!

Everyone keep the comments clean! I do not want to see fighting in the public areas of the forum start. I don't want that topic to go any furthur. This is everyones warning!

Georgia4x4 your comment was all uncalled for, although, you have the right to say what you want but not with that Attitude on this forum. Rhinomcb just pay him no attention and don't comment back it has no productivity in this thread.

Georgia4x4 the attitude you are using on these forums is not welcome here! Take it to the off topic section if its clean otherwise you send the Admin or Moderators a PM.

Georgia4x4 this is considered DERAILING THREADS. Other Forums this would get you moderated an banned in a hurry. This forum has not had anything really to moderate but if you start this I will moderate you fast.

Consider This Your Second Warning in this thread!

You got a problem, PM ME, and I will pass it to the proper people!

That was a calmer post. Noone is going to kick you off yet. Just watch how your coming across on these PUBLIC forums. Thats the biggest thing I am watching because you never know who is watching these forums and the site.

Georgia4x4 hopfully you make this weekends ride!! Just forget those past few posts where we moderated you but don't forget the meaning of them. It is for the safety of the forum, thats all! Laughing

Have Fun,
_Rick

Georgia, you are just a little too high strung. Chill out man. Leave that competitive nature at the race track. This is the drivers lounge, and trust me, you dont want to be pulled into the Mod's trailer for a chat. lol!

Well to Answer the Question on the GAY Laughing Alarms they work Great just like the ones on your Car-Truck comes with 2 remotes as far as i know they are Water Proof if i haven't drowned mine Rolling Eyes Then i guess they are :) Remote works a long ways off and chirps also the head and tail lights flash when you arm it and if set off the first bump it alarms 3-4 times nad the lights Flash Next bump she's wide open alarm and light flashing Laughing The reason i got mine was in the Few cases we stay in motels just alittle extra Insurance :) And if you mount it right it will take awhile to disarm if people are messing with it Mad So far to me it's a good investment and the alarm it's self is water proof Trust Me i know Rolling Eyes Laughing

RSRRhino is the wiring straight forwards, an easy directions to follow? Is their any wires you have to cut an splice together? I am thinking I may go ahead an order one although it won't do me any good this next weekend. My current safety is a lock an full coverage insurance.

I'll post when I do place an order... Let us know about the wiring?
