| Ok my friend bought Prowler 650 as you know. Now to my question. We went on a ride yesterday I know I was going to post pics but the wife forgot the camra. When I was helping him strap it to the trailer I noticed gear oil on the fromt diff and skid plate. It was coming from where the I guess it was a breather tube went in to it. I was thinking it was a seal or somthing but did not know. We went throught some water about 2 feet deep did not come in the floor board. It was not to deep for it was it? could it have got full of water and come out a overflow? It only has 40 miles on it. Thought I ould see if anyone had a idea about it. Thanks

| no way to know unless you check it, but it probably just had too much lube in it. | |

| Oil in the diff's is to be about 3/4" below the threads of the filler hole. There is a "Baffle" instead of a breather.....or call it an "Expansion Chamber" Arctic Cat has an up date for this....at least for the '06's.....chamber is much larger. Check for a failure in the chamber....crack....cut. More than likely a crack. | |

Tim He'll keep blowing seals. My 08 had the problem at the rear diff. I've found that the bigger expansion accordian thingys aren't big enough. I ordered 2 extra and bought a vacume line T from the parts store and added an extra expansion chamber to the rear diff.Very cheap fix. Now they both expand until tight but no more leaks. I later found this same fix on prowlertalk.net

I only have 1 bellows...the big one

I only have 1 bellows...the big one I will switch this winter when I change the fluids. What brand/weight do you use? I forgot to mention, I also used a 15ft roll of header wrap and wrapped the pipe between the head and the muffler. It cuts down on the heat tranfer to the riders and the rear diff where the pipe comes close and it also cut down on alot of noise. When this pipe rusts through I think i'll have the new one ceramic coated and wrap it when I put i t on.
