my boss snapped a picture of me while I was flipping a base so I figured I would share (it took 2 gantrys to flip that biggin 35'4"x12')[current is 35x14']

here is just another smaller base with 3/4 flate plate and 1/4 diamond plate talk about a pain in my ass

LT I was but got laid off and bills dont wait on call backs, they are for pumps BIG ASS pumps that pump water into buildings and who knows what else I just build the bases nad help with assembly sometimes

very heavy that one was 12" channel with 10" channel on the inside

here is a unit thats 35' long and from one end of it unpainted... it now matches the blue that is on the base

No we have 3 pipe welders thats all they do and they usually mess up and have to fix pin holes...well 1 of them usually messes up... I weld out the whole base then all the header supports and everything that is put on that has to be welded to the base I got to do on this one since it was so big we had almost every guy in the "middle" working on it.


Middle is well the middle of the shop which is just me with the bases and assembly

But yes fox I can pipe weld I use to do it at another place

I love melting wire!!!!! Looks like you guys did a great job building that pumping station!

Do you know where it's going....who had it made Question
Shawn....any idea as to how much wire went into the build.....I am assuming that this was mostly wire feed and not stick welded....correct Question

ya all mig welded and as far as the amount of wire in the job got no clue when wire runs out I just replace it never keep count... all I know is the job name was School EEE I believe so no clue most are just names and numbers never know much about them other then what the prints show Smiles

here it is all wrapped up ready for the road trip... the black dot is our painter haha we were messing with him while hewas up there I would say he is probably about 6' the demensions are 35'x14'x12' weighed in at over 60,000 lbs. + dont remember the exact number
