| Also, if you just want to go out and let someone else do the planning and guiding and cant make the UTV Jam, check out the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree. We were there a few years back and of course side by sides were welcome too although they werent allowed on every single trail. There are a few with width restrictions. | |

Do you know of any place where you can find out which trails have the 50" width restriction.

| Go to www.atvutah.com, they have a pretty good list of what is restricted and have the most info about the trails and what to expect. | |

Thats right. If you have the question, those guys can almost certainly answer it for you. There is also a map that tells you which have the restrictions although I am not sure which one it is.

| So who is up for a trip in 2010? Triple J, how many was riding in your group? Did you stay away from the UTV Jam event? Where did you set up base camp at? Thanks for the info, I have a year to plan the trip. Looks like it will be the wife and I, just bought an E350 4X4 Diesel Van to pull the rhino, making a camper out of it. Got the bed finished already. Took it to Brimstone, did good. | |

| There were 3 couples in our group that went out together but there were another 20 or so people that we met up with through the Nyroc group (they were mainly atv's though).
We stayed at Liz and Charlies in Marysvale
Yes we avoided the group rides with the Jam as we didn't want to be in a group of 20 to 40 machines as the dust would have been horendous as there was no rain the 2 weeks we were out there and I'd guess not much for a long time before we got there.

Group ride, or solo, I am making plans, ordered the map and trail guide yesterday. may even swing by vegas and the grand canyon on the way home. has anyone heard of riding one of the canyons out there. I heard of Bryce Canyon, and I remember reading somewhere of a trip into the grand canyon, but i don't see that happening. ????

| (From one of the rally websites) OHV Registration: The following states will allow you to use your resident state's OHV stickers in Moab. If your state is not on the list, you'll have to get a UTAH OHV sticker (Please see below): California Delaware Idaho Indiana Iowa Massachusetts Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Montana New Jersey New Mexico New York North Dakota Oklahoma Oregon Pennsylvania Texas Vermont Washington Okay, if your state is not on the list above, you'll need a permit from Utah. Please go here for the non-resident OHV application: http://stateparks.utah.gov/statepark...istration.html. If your UTV is street legal in your current resident state, and you are visiting less than 14 days, no sticker is necessary | |

| If you go to Moab, you are NOT allowed on the streets through town unless you are a licensed vehicle. This means all ATV's, UTV's, and other non street legal buggies. This is a town of Moab regulation. They do make special exception for the UTV rally's and have police escorts to the trails from the Spanish Trail arena. | |
