| Took my 11-year old grandson to Windrock for one day. We rode a little over 43 miles on the moderate trails and gravel roads. I stayed off the difficult trails because we were riding alone, and there weren't that many people on the mountain on a Thursday. I counted only 4 trailers in the huge parking area near the snack bar. Here's a slideshow of a few pics taken on the smoother portions where I felt comfortable holding a camera and driving... http://www.flickr.com/photos/kentthomas/sets/72157620550622197/show/Thanks for all the input on what trails to ride. Going from memory, and not the map, I think we did 1, 2, 18, 16, 34, 13 and a couple others. We had a great time! | |

| Thanks guys -- you helped make it a success for my grandson and I. BTW, I'm still playing with this video editing software. I tried to liven this one up for my 11 year old grandson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CsLqx457hIOBTW, the band is Killing Joke -- my BIL, Geordie Walker, is the lead guitarist... at least he's my BIL, until my SIL cans his deadbeat azzzz.... | |
