| -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "my wifes rzr snapped a rod above the journal "polaris tech says "wow , never seen one break there before, must be a bad forging".The rzr has 750mi and 58 hrs on it. Polaris adjuster comes to look at it and says they wont pay to fix cause I put a HMF pipe on it. I guess I shoulda bought a jap utv, at least they stand behind what they build and dont try to say a exhaust pipe cuased a rod to fail. I own 4 polaris atv's. they are now for sale, they will be replaced with yamaha's. Are my 2 sea doos made by polaris? if so their gone also..Thats what I get for trying to buy american products..The RZR is fast, but it truly is built like a p.o.s...Turns out the original owner sold these rzr'z cause they both blew the motors before they had 10 hrs on em. Do yourself a favor and buy something that wont cost you 4200.00 to fix. " Nahhhhhh I'll pass............. | |

| I am glad I bought an extended warranty. Then again, if it blows with only a few hours on it, it would be covered under factory warranty. I don't plan on any engine mods anytime soon so it would be hard for them to say it was my fault if something like that happened. | |

| Plenty of horror stories on the web about every brand, took about 2 seconds to find this; Every brand will have a few, and every maker will not honor every warranty especially if some mods are done. Messing with exhaust or fuel can cause conditions that could result in engine failure in any brand.

Fed up with yamaha I just got my rhino back with new motor that was covered under yamaha only put 250 miles on it.I took it back in to a different dealer cause it is now over heating and uses oil.Well they call me and tell me that on leak down test it is only reading 50%,they said we are calling to tell you that if we tear it down and if it is the rings and or piston that it is my problem to pay for this.I told them no way am i paying for it the thing only got 250 hour.I called yamaha and was on phone with them for over an hour saying how can you wear set of rings out in an 250 miles or even the piston. They are now telling me i need to take it back to the dealer that fixed it the first time i told them i refuse to take it back there they had it for 2 1/2 months the first time they did it.Plus its like hour and half away from where i live.I dont think i should have to pay anything what do you all think. __________________ | |

| It don't matter what you have they all will break and they all have their problems. It's all in what you like. I always had good luck with Yamaha. But willing to try something new. | |

| I like em all. I have never been a big fan of Polaris but after watching them all year I was so impressed I wanted one. Tim and Stacey proved to me what those RZR machines will do. I don't care what anyone on here says......the RZR is the most impressive trail machine out there. I love my Rhino. If you put a twin cylinder in it and a little better travel and suspension, cut the weight by 200 lbs........then I would say it would possibly be the one to beat again. That is just my opinion of course, and I am sure someone will shoot back at me and tell me how mis-informed I am. | |
