2007 450 RHINO CLICKING ISSUE

This past weekends ride I unloaded it off the trailer and parked it and heard nothing. An hour later we got ready to ride so i put it in reverse, tapped the gas to make sure it was in gear (at this point everything is fine) and then when i went to back it up i heard a clank sound like metal to metal from what sounded like at the rear of the motor. So i put it in high and went forward and i heard the same sound so i put it in reverse again and again the same sound. This time i put it in high and take off slow and the same sound but i take it for a ride and it seems to be fine so i stop and put it in reverse and again the same sound. So i take out the seats, center console, and the snatch straps that have metal hooks on them and try again this time i hear nothing so i figure that it was the snatch strap hook that was making the noise so i put it all back together and then we leave 15min later and sure enough i hear the same clank but the snatch strap back where it was originally so i ignore it. I dont hear it the rest of the day.

So my question is has anyone else ever heard this type of noise or did my snatch strap just make me crazy?

check the rear diff mounting bolts!!

X2 check the bolts..........

ill do it. I did just check them the ride before but i will do it again. I washed it and rode it through my hood and it was fine. im thinking it was the strap hooks.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but i just wanted to let yall know that it was the bolts in the rear diff. They were just barely spinning if you put a wrench on them. I pulled them out, cleaned them off, put some red lock tight on them and tightened the piss out of them.
No more clicking!
I had not ridden the rhino in the past 6 months so i had not even tried to fix it.
