Good grief! Those guys and gals quit doing that over a year ago. Its time to stop crying over it and let it go. If he wants to know what kind of job they did he can look back on all of the compliments they received while they were out there.

Who is crying? Not me, but there was a young girl that one of jumped on so hard she started crying. Good thing I wasn't there. I just want the guy to know that the trail patrol was a bad mistake and should never be brought back.

Well maybe if you had been there you could have told us all the rest of the story, but since you were not, it will have to be left at he said she said. Fact is, the personell that worked on that mountain every day and every weekend have a MUCH different story to tell him if he decides he really wanted to know. But, as you already know, the club is no longer affiliated so therefore there is no chance of it being put back into motion unless of course CC uses their own pick of people which would more than likely be cost prohibited. So once again we are back to just let it go. People are tired of hearing your same old sob story.

the trail patrol started out as a very good thing.it was intended to help people on the mtn.some of the guys did a very good job at helping people.some how ever did get real carried away and should of been...............ive seen some of that for myself and did express my opion on them.

u guys that want to make smart remarks need to go on to some other place!!!!!!!!!

cc does a better job at keeping up the trails for sure.they have the $ and the equipment to do so.full time employees ect........the club could no longer or afford to do so with all the epa people fussing and wanting the creek crossings fixed.the club was volunteers only.and there is still many club members that will help if ask.

Badride,
Thanks for the input. My "things to do" list is quite long, but I plan on contacting Volunteer Trail Riders and maybe a couple of other motorcycle clubs and making some contact with them. Before I ever had jeeps or ATVs, I rode dirt bikes. That was my passion as a kid. Now, it hurts too much to hit the ground.

Next year I would like to have several brand new events. I would like to have a single-track event just for dirt bikes. I would also like to have an event focused on side x sides.

Thanks for all of you guys that have offered to help with different projects. As I have said before, all input is welcomed.

Thanks,

Brent

Brent,

Sounds like you have some really good ideas for Windrock. I hope you make them happen. Vicky has my number if you need help for the fall jam.

This is what is on the webpage as of Thursday morning. I really wish they would get the details out as to the times for the events. All my friends are making plans and I don't know what to tell them. I really wanted to help with a guided ride or something but I need to find out something soon.

Brent,if at all possible can you make an attempt to try and work out something where you guys charge per vehicle, and not by person,we live in knoxville and ride there all the time, nearly 3 times in a month.we have both have year passes and the price willnot keep us from riding, but it might be a little better if you could charge by vehicle and not person. 2cents

Since this topic is relevant to our future rides, I thought I would bring it back to life. I talked to Brent today at Windrock and I expressed my concern that WR does not offer any type of discount for military members. When we rode there last May I conveyed the same thing to the girls at the Windrock Park. I would consider buying an annual if they offered a good deal to military. Similar park in the same region (Brimstone) offers annual permit for 15 dollars. I know our group has already been there at least 2-3 times this year and I am pretty sure I could get more people down there.
