do you know if the yamaha dealer in huntsville has an 09 midnight armour red 700 ? i tried sending them an email thru the website but no answer. dont know how often you stop in but i thought i would ask

I know He has 3 Silver Sports, that's all He has left in his 09 inventory before the 2010 arrive sometime in Oct I think....But, He can get you a Red Midnight, just give Aaron a call at 423-663-2222 and tell him what you are wanting, He'll find one or do a dealer trade or something.

Brushed Silver is the way to go but I am partial to silver. Good deal for an 08' tho.

That's a heck of a deal on an '08 700. I paid $6995 for an '08 450 SE in March and thought I was getting a heck of a deal. I found an '08 Camo 700 for $8995 then, the cheapest 700 I could find locally, and decided to go with the 450 SE instead...

One suggest,ion Bob is don't pay a significant price premium for the Special Edition models UNLESS it's the Sport Edition with the Rezzi shocks. Otherwise, many of the things on a Special Edition you'd likely prefer something aftermarket anyway. ITP wheels instead of SE Yammies, different top, etc.

The rezzi shocks are worth a REAL premium price -- but most things on the "dressed up" models aren't... IMO.

kent the shocks are what i am interested in, and i kept the new bighorns and 112s along with the windsheild front rack tool bar and gun boots. just will need clayboys headlight upgrade, fender flares , marine mp3 sstereo sytem, and the 2 way radio communications system.

Is there any difference between the 08's and 09s that would make the 09 better ?

I did see a silver, black and the maroon one, not sure of the year tho. I'm pretty sure the 7499 was for a base red or green.

No major difference in the 08 and 09. There is an extra warning light on the 09 for seatbelts (annoying IMO) and the outside bar of the seats on the 09 are not "open" like on the 08. That is the only difference I know of.
