| Where do you guys get those rather hard, dense, rubber balls for the end of your winch cable? My Ramsey didn't come with one and I'm have a tough time finding anything that will take a beating from the thorn bushes so far. Thanks for any help. | |

| Ok....here's some pic's of what I did.................. This is the Freeze Plug with the rubber bushing removed. Rubber bushing on the winch rope. Winch rope with rubber bushing against rollers. Does the job for less ! | |

Safety........so you dont have a hold of the wire that is being drawn into the winch. Alot of people have had a glove get caught and pulled into the fairlead causing injury. It's basically a buffer between you and the fairlead. | |

| oh well I got syn. rope so i just took it off casue when I first got this winch i had it on and winched it in till it was tight (with the ball on it) and it pulled a little bit of the rope out of the metal loop where you hook the winch to | |
