Rubber from air box to carb Empty
PostSubject: Rubber from air box to carb   Rubber from air box to carb EmptyFri Mar 07, 2008 11:57 am

I installed a billet intake and uni filter to my snorkeled 660...

the rubber connector from the air box to the carb though is a lil twisted. Not bad - and I counter twisted both end to try and remove some of the bend...

I would like a lil more of a straight shot though for better air flow - ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

thanks

robbie

Are you just having trouble getting it on straight without twisting?

What I do to help put it back on is take the clamp off the boot and put it on the carb inlet. Then I've got a flexible coupling to get on properly. Then I slide the clamp back onto the rubber boot, cinch it up and tighten everything.
