| just my opinioin, but i dont see much a difference in any of the cdi boxes on the market. they all do the same thing really, raise the rev limiter. its not like one adds 10hp and another doesnt | |

I tend to agree, as long as they're reliable. One thing I like about both these is that they keep the circuit that prevents shifting into 4WD when moving. IMO, the drivetrain is not designed to do that, and there's a reason why the factory CDI prevents it. I understand Dynatek and some others don't prevent this from happening... The original Tri-Fires required you to put you foot on the brake to start it (except in neutral) just like the stock one does, though I think this feature has been removed on the later ones. Also like the "brother-in-law" switch, just in case... Some safety features I appreciate -- but governors aren't necessarily one of them. having it "switchable" via the BIL switch is kinda the best of both worlds, IMO... | |

| i may get the tri fire next, i had the black rhino performance box and it took a crap on me the last ride...it was a long tow home | |
