Remove the stickers/labels Empty
PostSubject: Remove the stickers/labels   Remove the stickers/labels EmptyWed Nov 18, 2009 7:04 pm

Want to know who has found the best way to remove the stickers on a new RZR. I started to just try to peel, but doesn't do very well. Thought of using my heat gun on low or a hair dryer, but worried about the plastic. Any suggestions from someone who has mastered this?

I have never tried to remove them from a RZR but a pressure washer at the right angle works good on the Rhino.

I used a little heat, not too much, then remove the adhesive with some thinner..

It is an art form for sure. I pulled paint off when I yanked my stickers off.

heat gun on low, do a little at a time, you will figure out the right heat, too much and they just come apart, too little and they dont pull off easy. remove residue with lacquer thinner.

Thanks. I'll try the heat gun first. It might take me a day two before I get the time, then I'll let you know how it works.

GooBeGone makes something to remove labels and 3M also I think.

a hair dryer works great. and little gas on a rag to wipe the glue off.

Just flag the decal with a heat gun careful not to get it too hot and I think that WD-40 works well for the glue.

I just peeled mine off my Rhino and they were a bitch. I just pulled super slow. Took me about 20 minutes per sticker.
