| Well, the time has come to make this thing mine. As you can see the transformation has started. Cage, bed, breather and exhaust system removed. Here is the little addition. Another view. The skid plates are here but I will have to wait on the lift kit, braces and gussets as they will interfere with welding the gussets in and I won't get them until Friday. More pics to come as the the parts go on

6-7.5# on pump gas but I am going to mix it with race gas so I should be able to run somewhere close to 9-10#

6-7.5# on pump gas but I am going to mix it with race gas so I should be able to run somewhere close to 9-10# I have heard several arguments of mixing pump gas and race fuel. Some say it will mix others say it will not, it will cause hot spots upon ignition. Which should not be a big deal with it being a single cylinder. In a V8 they say some cylinders will burn hotter than others due to the amount of race fuel in each cyclinder. They argument is the leaded gas will not mix with the additives in pump gas. I don't know but I have never done it due to this reason, I either run one or the other.

| I have ran the mix in my Harley which has a high compression Merch motor in it with no problems at all. And from what I understand some of the race gas start with straight gas before they add everything to it. | |

| Just got off the phone with UTV crap, ordered the billet hubs. They just sold out and I have to wait 2-3 weeks on the next batch. I figure I will need them before I set out into the wilderness. I had to pull a RZR over a hill when he broke one and I didn't think he gassed it that hard.
I hope to get to work on the S Sunday as the braces & gussets are supposed to be here Friday so I should have some pictures of the shinny new parts put on Monday!
This thing is worse than having a boat (a hole in the water that you throw money in) Maybe it is like a grave that you throw money in.

| No, it has the original top on it. Probably for the time being (until Summer and I have the time) I am just going to do some modifications to the stock cage and make another top out of aluminum. I want to add a bar to each side at the top so I can make a top that will cover more of my shoulder so if it rains I won't get so wet. I plan to build another cage from scratch so it will be like I want it and powder coat it and the front bumper red. | |

| Well, my braces didn't show up Friday so that is going to put some of the things on hold for a day or so. Maybe I won't loose too much time. I will work on putting the turbo on till they get here. Speaking of roll cages, if anyone knows where I can buy the connectors that will match the factory roll bar connections please let me know. I might go ahead and build the new roll cage while I am at it. | |
