j strong doors

anyone have experience with them? i can get a set for under $200 so its temptimg.
i know ive read where they can pop open if in a bind.

I had a set on my Rhino. I replaced the stock latch-catches with my own, they never popped-open. Good doors for plastic ones.

I would love to have a set except for the popping open issue. Pate, what kind of latch did you use?

The stock latches are ok. it's the catches,On the cage, that are the problem. It really has to do with adjustment and the catches. They are adjustable at the hinges. A lot of people don't relize that, I guess. I made some catches that were taller than the supplied ones, so the latches had a little more bite. Made them out of some scrap. I may have a pic of them still. I'll look.

That would be a good price. I would like to get a set if I could get them for that.

what about arm and leg room sense these dont bow out like some of the high end doors out there.

They were good to me as far as room went. A Rhino has a little more elbow-room and unless your seats are lowered, the J's are fine. They have come down in price tho. I think I paid around 200.00 for mine (E-Bay) compared to when they first came-out in late 06 they were, what, 499.00 I just wish someone would make some decent ones for my Ranger............But they
are comming.

great moto!but make sure and try to get them flush as you can with the cage

I offered $160 and they turned it down. How did you get them for that?

i just made an offer and they took it must have caught them on a good day try again

I have been running their folddown windsheild for a few months now and am very happy with their stuff. The doors are next on my list!

I think i'm going to keep an eye out for some of their doors too.

still havent got around to installing mine yet. ill be sure and let you guys know what i think after they are on
