| Great pics and info Chris. You gave good advice at Windrock too. I am slowing down soon and going to see a guy who builds race car chassis and cages near me, to look into chopping the cage. Haven't decided wether to chop the front and rear of the cage, or just the rear like you did, yet. I do have the flaps now, just have to have the time to put on. I did get the sagging springs adjusted after the Windrock ride. Looks better now. I am going to order the Lift Kit soon too. | |

| Gimpy , I would not chop the front of the cage. it is low enough as it is. just loosen the bolts in the front. and when you cut the rear, it will just lay back. and it wont effect your windshield...... and Yes you do need to order a lift. if you plan on riding at winrock like we did.... | |

| Merry Christmas to me.... My new Lock and ride Gas can and holder came in today. it seems to fit very well , and holds the gas can in place pretty snug. good thing is you can take the whole thing out in 30 seconds. No more worrying about low fuel warning light flashing at me. now i dont care. I am covered.... | |

| I put my spare gas can in the same spot and have never had a problem. What are you guys saying.... the extra heat from under the bed is worst in this area? | |

| As long as your gas can never leaked. i think you would be fine. i dont think it would get hot enough to be a problem. but it is cooler on the other side... | |

| What about HVAC insulation under the bed over the header? That might help with the heat. Also you can cut it to fit and paint it black. | |

| If heat on the gas can worries you then go to Lowes and buy some of the foam foil heat reflective tape. Coat the underside above the muffler. That will reflect plenty of heat and reduce the bed temp. | |
