Just wondering if anyone is going to Texas for Mud Nationals??? Very huge ride about 13K to 15K people. About 3500 acres of riding and competitions to watch

Man that is on my "Bucket list" for sure! I can't swing it this year but maybe in the next few.

Everyone needs to experience once in a life time. In my opinion, Mud Nationals is to atv/suv that Sturgis is to Motorcycles. Make plans now to go next year, you will not regret it. The mud is great and if you dont like the mud, most trails have "go-arounds" so you dont have to get in the bad holes if you dont want to. The inventions and contraptions some people come up with, well some are good ideas and some are just waaaaaay out there, LOL.

Well I just found out last night that a friend and I will be makin the 14 hour drive from MN. It sure looks like a bad ass time! I cant wait! Hopfully hook up with some of you down there? So all i need is a tent, beer, and the teryx right?? lol

We are bringing a rhino also.. Im only bringin the teryx to pull stuck and broke rhinos out of the mud holes!

well.......then I guess your smart about it then.......cuz the rhino's the only one of the 2 capable of playing anyways........the teryx couldnt handle it either way. So good on you man!!! cheers

Anyone know if you need tickets or anything in advance? Or do you just show up and set up camp whereever?

You pay at the gate and camping is anywhere you pull up and park, try to stay of the road as much as possible, get really dusty near the road. Bring goggles and bandanna to cover your eyes and face while in the common areas of the park. The park is located in a dry county, so bring your beer with you and cover it up while hauling across state lines.

I will try but with as many people that hard there, I will try. I will probably be the only one there on a white rhino, so if you spot me, flag me down also. We are camping up in the RV camping area right by the back gate. We have a 50' white cargo trailer and a 48' cargo, cant miss us if you drive to the back gate....

Have you been over to the Highlifter site on the Mud Nationals thread???? There is a guy names Mike Walker and he is coming from Minnesota, maybe you know him or can call him up. He is one of the moderators on the H/L site......
