Your best/worst ride of 09

Hay guys, it is a new year and new rides to come. However, I would like to hear about your best or worst ride of 2009. Please include pics if you have them.

I dont have a worst. I had a blast at all of them.

I plead the 5th...................... , Now the best, Windrock, no doubt.

my best ride was a campin trip with some of our buddies around here,some great times and lots of laughs.worst ride was jan 1 09 heavy rain all day,out at the flatts at wr wind was bout 50 mph,didnt have rear windsheild and got soaked....miserable ride

If I had to pick one, it would be a toss up between Evarts in Feb, Brimstone on New Years, Swiss, or the ride we had in Harts,WV in April. Those were by far the favorites for me. But then again, I have enjoyed most all of them.

best, windrock in nov, worst bell county.

My worst ride was WIndrock in November..........because I was not there.

Our Best was the group ride in March at the Wagon Wheel. It turned out the be the only ride with the whole gang that we were able to make. And that ride got cut short for us due to a cabin screw up. There really have been no bad rides for us. Some better than others, but no bad ones. 2009 was the year from Hell for us. I hope I can forget most of it right soon. This year has to be better!

I am with you Tick. It was a tough year for me also. However, I can never forget 09 because the best happen to me..... Little Carly Bryant. That helped me forget all the bad crap along with some great rides.

Amazing how the little ones change your outlook.

Brimstone and both Windrock rides were the best....

worst moment was the exhaust breaking on the old rhino when i met a group at 75y back in the summer/. 6 mile ride back with toilet paper stuffed in my ears and running all wildlife out of the area.

best ride was riding beyotch with Ronnie at windrock.

My WORST ride for 2009 was when my left rear axle came out of the differential. This was a known problem with early the '09 RZR S, caused by the Dana not milling the groove deep enough to accept the clip on the axle. (thanks GunRunner)

By far my BEST ride for 2009 was my ride from Camp Creek WV to Freeburn Ky, into Va then back to Camp Creek. About 200 miles in 2 days and camped surrounded by wild horses. Here's a ride report and pics......http://wvsxsriders.forumotion.com/camp-creek-f7/wv-ky-va-camp-ride-t1088.htm


For this year i hope to ride more than '09 and get together with yall for some ridin'/campin'.

Only 2 rides, Bell County & Wind Rock, with the club, since I am new. Liked Wind Rock better because of the weather and the new S, but liked the group size at Bell County. Thanks for the good times and look forward to this year.

Dang Mike!! I can't believe I never saw that thread. What a great ride report, and AWESOME pictures. That was a NICE BUCK. Can you believe someone would shoot that and leave it laying?? WTF?? I would be interested in a ride like that sometime if I could get the days off work.

LT, I don't know how you missed it either! Thanks for the comps. The deer was very fresh, still warm. This was before deer season started, i think someone shot it up the hill and this is as far as the buck could run. If you get some time off let me know, we'll do a good ride.

Yeah I missed you on the trip to Land Between the Lakes. Did you make that trip?

No I never did make it to KY, 2009 seemed to fly by.
I know you're moving to Va soon, but i'm definatly headed to Ky this May.

We need to hook up for a ride. I will have to see how much time my schooling is going to consume. I should know a little better about a month from now. I am hoping I can sneak over to WV a few times to ride in March and April. I love riding in the spring.
