New tires ITP Terracross yes or no??????

thinking of buing terracross ITPS 26 in for the RHINO WITH THE SS112 RIMS
looking for any in put good --bad?????????

Alot of people have had problems with the sidewalls cutting on the Terracrosses.

I know of a few that switched form Terracrosses because of the side walls.

You can search this site and find lots of debate about tires. The threads are probably funny to read.

Had Terra Cross......bad side walls....pinch way 2 easy

I have them now in a 26'' on a 14'' wheel. They do good for an all around tire for everything but mudd. If you are wanting a good tough tire check out a og big horn or the new PIt bull tires. That is just my .2

i like the bighorns and yes the terracrosses have very weak sidewalls.I have the 26" Bighorns with the 112 rims being 12 in.

The terracross tires are excellent tires for hard pack and rocks but they are not the best for durability. Like a lot of ITP tires the side walls are weak and tend to puncture/pinch pretty easily.

I have GBC's Grim Reapers which are 8ply, they work a lot better and are holding up a lot better than the Terracross's I was running before. my .02

not 26's but a great price on a set of 25's

ITP's- Bring some plugs...........

I ran the Terracross's for a while and they were great for the first 400 miles but gave up traction after that. They were the only tire I have ever had to plug in the tread path. They do feel and handle great though.

ok, i get terracross out have heard the asme thing on diffewrant threads. but how are the maxxis bighorns on hard trails , we ride them as much as the mud,the new pit bulls look like they would beat you to death. then were are the best place for the maxxis$$$$$$ ?? thanks for the help
