| Mrs. Stench has fallen in love with the Teryx - I was leaning more towards the RZR, but if it encourages her to go ride with me, then so be it! I did some calling around yesterday and have found three models very close ($500) to the same price. 2010 base model, 2009 LE with windshield and top, 2009 sport with aluminum rims and special shocks. Which one would you pick and why? I understand the flip up hood on the 2010 would be nice to have, but is it worth $500 and lack of accessories? Thanks....want to ride soon! I knocked the dust off my TRV in the snow yesterday, lol! Getting itchy to ride! | |

| 2010 for sure. Made some belt and CVT improvements, the hood opening, and major cooling upgrade. And tweaked the motor by almost 1 1/2 horsepower. | |

| As far as performance and durability it would have to be a 2010 for me due to the upgrades. | |

| Dirt Wheels has a nice write-up on the new TERYX. It sounds like they have made some really nice improvements over the 09. | |

| i might be a little late on this and am going againest the grain and saying the 09 sport.
unless you are wide open in the 100+ desert, most dont see a cooling issue. in fact, my 08 runs better once it gets a little warm.
the hood is minor. yeah it opens, but there is no storage or any thing to really be gained. with a few simple changes and 4 bolts, the 09 hood will slide up the cage.
havent heard anything about a power increase.

I agree. Those headlights look sorta strange, that being said, I could learn to live with them because of the improvements otherwise.

| Don't laugh, but I'll probably end up with red if a 2010 - wife says it has to be a bright color so the helicopter can spot it easily if laying in a gully...
Seriously, I'm concerned about the black showing scratches badly?

| Turns out the black one was a "demo" - I liked the Red one better in person that I thought I would. I like the black cage better than the red cage on the 08/09. Doesn't matter, will probably change the color when maier comes out with new plastics anyway!
Pick her up Saturday!!!
