I'm glad you appreciated it. IMO, if we do not STAND UP at this juncture in our history, then we stand the chance of losing things (like individual freedom and responsibility, not counting our value system) that we may never have the chance to recapture, short of actually rebelling and starting over...
Given the cycles of "The Rise and Fall..." we're on a slippery slope, gaining momentum on the slide downhill. If we don't stand up, and put our shoulder to the tasks at hand, then we may never have another chance to slow that descent...
Without action and reinvigoration of some our core values and principles, we face America becoming just another stagnant semi-socialist state, like so many of the European countries that our President seems to care so much about -- even more than he cares about what his constituents think and feel. He so obviously looks to Europe as the model -- rather than remembering that we distanced ourselves from Europe almost 250 years ago, and they've followed us for the last 100 years, instead of leading us...
Why should we willingly and/or consciously step back? We the people need to step up and speak out...
